Production Manager applicants must be thoroughly familiar with and able to perform all aspects of the landscape industry to include: estimating, identification, production, scheduling, customer service, training, etc. The Production Manager directly oversees the Team Leaders in hardscape construction, landscape installation and maintenance projects on a daily basis while interfacing with clients, subcontractors and vendors. Production Manager must keep the General Manager informed of progress (or lack thereof) on all jobs while coordinating with the Office (Administrative). The Production Manager’s role is essential to all interfaces within the company.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in hardscape construction, landscape maintenance and installation
  • Proven experience as a problem solver
  • Deep knowledge of common landscaping concerns
  • Understanding of quality standards, safety regulations and compliances
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics

Production Manager’s pay average $31.50/HR

Landscape Foreman applicants are required to oversee the quality of work by a team of groundskeepers. As the team leader, the Landscape Foreman is responsible for training his/her team, organizing and directing all aspects of their team’s work day from delegating tasks, scheduling breaks/lunches to ensure that projects are finished on time.

Landscape Foreman Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a landscape leadership role
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge working with all aspects of landscaping
  • Must have strong organizational, time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Great attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Flexible schedule

Mechanical skills are necessary to make simple repairs.

Landscape Foreman’s pay average $24.55/HR

Hardscape Foreman are experienced hardscape professionals who will lead a team of 1-3 team members, oversee hardscape installation and construction jobs. The Hardscape Foreman will ensure all work performed is completed to the highest standards, on time, and to budget.

The range of duties include, but are not limited to the construction of concrete pavers, patios, retaining walls, landscape construction, grading and plant installations.

Qualified applicants will have a desire to create, value teamwork and possess a positive and upbeat attitude.

Hardscape Foreman Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Two years of hardscape and landscape installation experience preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Able to lead, manage and communicate with coworkers, clients and vendors
  • Masonry and veneer work is a plus
  • Operational knowledge of all landscape tools & equipment
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 80 pounds

Mechanical skills are necessary to make simple repairs.

Hardscape Foreman’s pay average $27.25/HR

Groundskeepers are responsible for maintaining the grounds during all seasons. The range of duties include: grass cutting, seasonal clean ups, planting shrubs, mulch installation, seeding, hardscapes, snow removal and more. No previous experience is needed.

Groundskeeper Requirement:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Able to operate a variety of equipment and tools
  • Enjoy working outdoors in a variety of temperatures
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Reliable transportation to/from work location

Candidates must have a good work ethic and positive attitude. All training for the position will be provided for the right candidate.

Groundskeeper’s pay average $16.80/HR

Lawn & Tree Care Technicians are trained experts who take care of the health and appearance of the customer’s lawns, ornamental trees and shrubs.

The highest priority of this position is safety. Qualified candidates must be organized, great communicators and knowledgeable of basic pest management – such as weeds, insects and disease. The position also requires professionalism and great customer service relations. 

Lawn & Tree Care Technician Requirements:

  • Must have a valid CT driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Current 3a Supervisory or Applicators license issued by CT DEEP
  • Basic written and mathematical skills
  • Diagnose common landscape pest problems
  • Must be able to listen and follow instructions
  • Practical knowledge of service and safety standards
  • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Lawn & Tree Care Technician pay average $23.75/HR

Administrative Assistants play a paramount supportive role within the office. They are responsible for managing and distributing information amongst the teams, customers and vendors. An effective Administrative Assistant is a vital role that enables teams to be focused on their goals. Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email, ensuring that all tasks and duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and a sense of urgency.

The Administrative Assistant’s job duties can vary widely from day to day. On any given day such duties can include:

  • Answer all incoming phone calls and return calls in a timely manner
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Prepare emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
  • Write and edit documents, letters, reports and instructional documents
  • Create and maintain filing systems; both electronic and physical
  • Manage office equipment

The Sales Manager will be responsible for supervising and organizing a sales team to meet planned sales goals, maintain growth levels, and coordinate with our marketing department on lead generation. You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitating the ongoing training of your salespeople.

A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required. In order to succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a sales team. Previous experience in a sales-related role is a plus.
